So the whole Candy ideas all started on my trips to Hong Kong. People are crazy about their nails and Japanese style 3D nails are everywhere. My obsession with Japanese magazines only got worse. I stocked up on mags like Nail Venus and Nail Up and my suitcases got heavier and heavier every trip. Air Canada must love me :) Anyways that's when I took a series of night courses while there to learn the 3D nail techniques. My amazing teacher taught me how to sculpt flowers, strawberries, bows and even ice cream. These mini sculptures are built on your nail with a brush - they're not stickers and they don't fall off or lose color. Really the sky is the limit - you can make up any shape or design you like and use stones and glitter to accentuate them.
Now everywhere I go people love my nails and that's when the idea of opening a really unique japanese style lounge - like nail bar for fashionistas like me who want something unique that is a reflection of their personality for everyone to admire!
